Account Manager

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing business with existing clients and potential new clients as a representative of ComputerWorld, its products, services and partners with the ultimate intention of selling our solutions.

The role is client facing and you will be required to develop and maintain customer and supplier relationships and ensure that as much profit can be maximised, whilst still being competitive in the market place. You will be responsible and accountable for achieving your quarterly £GP-based target.

Additionally, you will be required to have a good understanding of multiple technologies within the ComputerWorld technology portfolio. You will be required to work collaboratively with your team-members, in addition to liaising with members of the technical and pre-sales teams as they design, architect and install the solutions.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Services Strategic Sales Specialist

In your role, you will be entirely focussed on developing new business with existing and prospective clients as a representative of ComputerWorld, its products, services and partners with the ultimate intention of selling ComputerWorld branded managed support services and solutions.

The role is both will involve a mix of both office based and client facing activity. You will be required to develop and maintain customer and supplier relationships and ensure that as much profit can be maximised, whilst still being competitive in the market place. You will be responsible and accountable for achieving your monthly £GP-based target.

Central Services Vacancies

Management Accountant

In your role, you will be expected to produce and comment on monthly management accounts for ComputerWorld Systems Limited and associated companies by : -

  • Reconciling monthly revenues and margins

  • Posting recurring and ad hoc journal entries to our accounting system (Sage 50)

  • Maintaining full balance sheet and bank reconciliations

  • Investigating material discrepancies

  • Creating new nominal codes as appropriate to ensure clarity and consistency of analysis

  • Running regular error-checks and back-ups of the accounting system

  • Explaining reasons for material variances from budget and forecast

Additionally you will work with the company’s budget holders to produce timely, meaningful draft annual budgets for consolidation and approval. You will also assist the Head of Finance and HR in creating and update processes to support and ensure good financial control in the business.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)

  • Proven experience of financial management and cash flow management

  • Conscientious work ethic
