ComputerWorld implements a programme to improve employee well-being

Earlier this year, ComputerWorld sent five volunteers to take part in mental health first aid training. It was provided by St John Ambulance and adhered to the MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) syllabus.

We are now happy to announce that Sarah Baird, Steven Edwards, Megan Warren, Adam Gleeson and Barry Coombs are acting as our mental health champions within ComputerWorld. They are working together to support their colleagues within Computerworld. They are a resource to reach out too, whenever needed.

Following the course, our mental health champions have come together to create a well-being team for ComputerWorld. Their aim is to promote proactive steps we can all take to look after our mental health, as well as helping to remove the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Our well-being team have begun to set up a quiet zone within the office and are implementing a well-being programme for everyone in the business. By joining, staff will improve their wellness, nutrition and knowledge around mental health.

ComputerWorld is committed to treating the well-being of its employees with the upmost importance. We believe that the measures outlined above are just the first step in ensuring that, as a business and as individuals, we are looking after ourselves and those around us.
