When endpoint intelligence empowers network detection’s

Bitdefender.svg.png

With the advancement and occurrence of threats increasing at an alarming rate, now is the time to club together to create a single consolidated force to be reckoned with which shares threat intelligence from both an endpoint and network perspective. Bitdefender have managed to offer just that, by adding to their already award winning threat detection capabilities, the Network Threat Security Analytics layer. Join Ross as he will discuss this addition to Bitdefender’s arsenal to better protect you from the hostile threats out there.

What is getting lost in all the buzz of data security?

netwrixv2.png

As data usage grows exponentially, many organisations are struggling with information security because they are short on time, money, staffing or all of the above. At the same time, the buzz from vendors about the latest attack vectors makes data security appear more complicated than it needs to be. This never-ending pursuit of defense against the hottest threats leads organisations to neglect basic aspects of data security, such as realising that not all data requires the same level of protection. In this session, we’ll explain how getting back to basics can strengthen security controls and reduce the risk of breaches.

But in a world of constant change, how do you determine the right thing to do? Which pebble to tread on? How do you understand where you’re going and where you need to go? How do you know if your strategy is right? Is there even such a thing?

In this talk, we start by examining the issue of situational awareness and how it applies to technology. Using examples from government and the commercial world, we then explore how you can map your environment, identify opportunities to exploit and learn patterns of change.

The Top IT Trends that matter to your business in 2017 - Wales

Join our specialists and industry experts at our exclusive event where we will be diving deep into the trends we are seeing within IT and explain how the technologies from both VMware and Dell will help you deliver a secure, flexible and productive business.

Overview

We are seeing a paradigm shift within the industry, leading to greater demand to deliver IT, to any device, at any location, at any time - also from any cloud, be it your internal data-centre or a cloud provider. This shift to a heterogeneous architecture brings a raft of security and management concerns; on top of this we are seeing an increased pressure to protect our data, with highly publicised data leaks and incoming legislation aiming to protect personal data.

Join specialists from ComputerWorld, as we explore how Dell and VMware technologies tackle the conflict between the business need to remain secure and users demanding flexibility.
